Welcome to ABC! Please join us on Wednesday, June 27th from 5:30-7:00pm in the Emmet O’Neal Community Room for the launch of our Speaker Series, an event that will provide an introduction into blockchain technology through the presentations from two talented individuals who are working in the blockchain and crypto field. In the meantime, connect with our community on Discord at

Our plan for the night is as follows:

First, we will hear from Parker Owen, who is the co-founder at The Crypto Reserve. Parker will speak about the basics and fundamentals of blockchain technology and its security. He will also present on a variety of topics within the space, including: blockchain security, risks, proper storage methods, cryptoeconomics, ICOs, and where the industry is heading.

Next, we will hear from John Heeter, who is the founder and CTO of ( John will offer a 20-25 minute presentation on the perspective on the ebb and flow of decentralized and centralized forces throughout nature and society. By studying blockchain technology in a wholistic context, we can visualize a future where this technology reaches mainstream adoption.

To wrap up, there will be a 15 minute Q&A from the audience, which will moderated by Cameron Traylor.

Please RVSP to attend. The event will begin with a few minutes of meet & greet and networking, and then we’ll hop straight into the programming. Limited refreshments and snacks will be provided.
